Okay guys, welcome back to Housewives Goss and Glitter. We are probably on episode two for uh the Real Housewives of Rhode Island, and this episode was the ocean state of affairs. I didn't write down the like little blurb. Did you get the blurb by chance? I always write up.
SPEAKER_00I always get the blurb. So it says Ashley opens up about the stress Jared is under. Kelsey invites all the girls to the Newport Winery. These are probably like the two most boring parts of the episode because there's way more that happens than these are.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't know. Again, I don't understand how they pick the stuff out.
SPEAKER_00Like it doesn't mention like it doesn't even mention Rula, because that's what I wrote. I was like not described. We meet Rula, which is like a huge deal.
SPEAKER_03I know. I know. It's crazy. And there's a lot going on. Because we open up the episode of Liz and Jerry going to Liz's in-laws, so Jerry's parents, because her stepdaughter is pregnant with a guy that she's for with a baby that for a guy that she's only known a few months and they're meeting his parents. Like it's a big family get together.
SPEAKER_00But they're t they're like 25 and 26. So it's not like, and also they both clearly have like really big supportive families. So it doesn't, it's like seems like a good situation. Like I know it was quick, but it's not like they're teenagers. So I didn't think that like that was.
SPEAKER_03She's like, I'm in my like 50s. I can't be grandma.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Well, it's it's funny too, because like a lot of my a lot of that general, like a lot of my my grandparents have died, but like my grandmother had like a lot of I called her Nana, but like she has a lot of like brothers and sisters, and they're like still alive, and they're always like, like I'm always like, they're my great aunts and uncles. And then one of them was like, I'm your great-great aunt. I was like, no, you're just my great aunt. It was so funny, but it doesn't sound very like old and official, you know. I would not want to be called that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03No. So I really like that she wanted to be called Gigi. And wait, her confessional look is still the original confessional look. Because her neck her second confessional look in this episode is but I did write down when that end.
SPEAKER_00I did take a lot of notes on that. I mean, I think so. For me, I liked what she had on. It's just that she's so tan that the all the brown was like too matchy matchy. Like I wish it was the same outfit, but like in black um or something like that. And then I do love like she definitely has like the really long dramatic extensions. Like those are probably the longest ones. And that's what I was gonna say. I love the high pony like that. And I'm kind of like with extensions, I'm like, if you're gonna do them, like go big or go home. I think it's really funny when people get their hair done and they do stuff that's like super subtle and then expect everybody to notice. And I'm like, if you did something really subtle, no one fucking notices it. Like they're afraid to get like highlights. And I'm like, I'm gonna go through the process of sitting there for hours and hours and getting highlights, or for hours and hours and getting extensions. Like, I want people to fucking notice. I don't want to be like, oh, I just put extensions in for like a little more volume. It's like, no, I'm gonna get like the biggest, most voluminous, longest ones that I could possibly get.
SPEAKER_03I I'm with you. I think if I ever did extensions, I would need to be like, I'm ditching the bob, I'm going all out. Like, you go all out.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. Because they're expensive and they take a really long time. And it's like, I'm not gonna do all that just for like a little bit of extra. I have I've done, I mean, my hair is real now, but I mean it didn't grow pink, but um I did it from you, but after I had cut it and like because I cut it a few years ago, but my hair does grow really fast, but I still like I wanted to do extensions, but I did really dramatic ones, like they were platinum blonde and they had pink in them too. And then I also did the tinsel, like this like unicorn tinsel, and uh it was amazing. It was amazing.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I tried to go back to brown and I'm not digging it, so this weekend I am finally going to go back to at least blonde. We're gonna see how bright we can get me without burning my bangs off.
SPEAKER_00My favorite look of yours is when you do like a completely straight lob. And you should do that, but you should do it platinum blonde.
SPEAKER_03I I think I'm past the lob.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but your hair is short now, so yeah, it has to be a lob for a little bit to grow it.
SPEAKER_03Well, when I have these space buns, you can see my undercut. So half my hair is missing. So I I would go back to a pixie cut if I if it didn't take so long to grow back out. I wish I could like change my hair like every other day. That would be marvelous. I told Slater I'm gonna start wearing wigs. He was not thrilled. I was like, then I could do whatever I want anytime I want. It's perfect.
SPEAKER_00I do not want to wear wigs, that seems really hot. Um but anyway.
SPEAKER_03Anyway, I went with Ashley.
SPEAKER_00No, we have just so much okay. Before that though, I did think how Liz talks about Jerry's daughters was like really touching. Like I was like tearing up. Just because this like just confirmed for me that she and Alicia being my favorites are still is still the case. And I did like how she was saying that, like, like she had basically said that the girls had come to live with them, and she was not expecting when she got married that she was gonna be like in a mom role, but for whatever reason, like they weren't living with their biological mom. And the way that she said it, she did it without like bad mouthing whatever's going on with their biological mom. Because like obviously there's something there, but like she didn't like touch on that, which is nice. And then she said she feels like a part of her blood courses through their veins. And I was like, I think that's like really nice because I don't think people understand how rare that is with stepparents, yeah. But that is not the case for a lot of step parents at all.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I have really lucked out in the step parent department and in the like in-law department, and I know that that is like incredibly rare. Yeah, like incredibly rare. So I so to see Liz being so accepting, and she was like, I and I also like how she has like in her little anecdote, like oh, I wasn't prepared at all, and I the Skyla wasn't even in the all the way in the car when I went to go drive away. I just wasn't ready for her mom. But she really obviously like showed up and takes care of them and they love her, and it seems like when they're at the in-laws' house, like they her in-laws really love her too.
SPEAKER_00And yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03Grandma wants to make her granddaughter the mini rigatonies that she likes. It was a cute scene, and then to follow up though, on Liz being like a good stepmom, you see later on in another scene how defensive she gets over like raising the kids. Uh yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_03So I know, but I'm just saying, like, you just you can tell she gives a shit, like in chaos.
SPEAKER_00Yes. So that was n that was really nice. And then I also thought this next scene was nice too with Jo Ellen and Ashley at the park. So before we get into the content of this, I do think it's hilarious that Ashley's son is named Dawson. Just because I can't hear that name without thinking of Justin Leary.
SPEAKER_03And she's in, she's like in between my age and your age, right? She's like, so it's perfect timing. You know how she got the name.
SPEAKER_00You know how she got that name. She got it from Dawson Leary of Dawson's Creek, who like R.I.P. Unfortunately, he died. But I mean, he wasn't my we can't recap that show, that's a whole thing. However, I used to find I used to be totally like not on his team. Watching the show a second time around, which this is not one of the shows that I've watched a million times. Like I've only watched it twice. Like, watched it when I was like little and then watched it like a few years ago or whatever, because it's on the loop. And now I have a totally different view of him. Now I'm kind of like, I think Joey should have been with Dawson. I you have to rewatch it. I feel like now that I'm an adult, I appreciate their relationship a lot more than her and PCs.
SPEAKER_03Pretty for Dawson's Creek was on a time when I didn't have cable, so I was just getting all my gossip from like the magazines, and I'd watch the occasional one episode at a friend's house. So I was like, I know of it, and it's so big.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, you have to see it. It's okay. The 90s banter is just like it's amazing. I love it.
SPEAKER_03I will definitely need to like add it because I'm running a lot of my TV shows are ending soon, so I'm gonna have to start up something.
SPEAKER_00Well, it's also funny because like the show is set on K Cape side and like they filmed it in North Carolina, but it's like supposed to be the Cape. So like randomly they'll mention towns like Falmouth, you know. Did they even say it right? They did, and they definitely did like a pretty good job representing the Cape.
SPEAKER_03Um it's always funny when shows though like are not filmed where you want them to like supposed to be Cape Side Bond, North Carolina. Like Slater and I fell in love with Longmire and we're like, we're going to Wisconsin. So we went sorry, Wyoming. We went to Wyoming and we had a blast. We came back and it was filmed in like Arizona, which is so different from Wyoming. We went all the way to Wyoming.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, interesting.
SPEAKER_03Only if I know that was filmed in like they have a city that it's based on in Wyoming, and that city we actually visited and they have like a long wire festival like every year or something. But it's so funny because like the I mean it looked identical. Like what we saw in Wyoming is what you saw on the show, but it's funny because it was filmed in Arizona.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Interesting.
SPEAKER_01So different.
SPEAKER_00I that is so different. Like I can see the Cape to North Carolina connection, but I can't see the Arizona to Colorado connection. Or Wyoming connection. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It was like big open fields. Anyway, yeah. So anyway, we go Joel and Ashley. It's really cute. I like how we ought to know more about Ashley because we didn't get a ton of her in episode one.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, I think that well, I think like part of her challenge is just gonna be the fact that like she's the only outsider. So that's gonna be hard. And like the other girls don't even know like her husband, it doesn't seem so like I think that that's gonna be a challenge and just like bringing her into like the really deep drama that's going on. But I mean, I'm sure we'll learn more about her.
SPEAKER_03But I understand though people love, love, loved her on The Bachelor. Yeah, she's super likeable.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I think they need her to balance out the cast too. Like, I just think she you have to have some sort of counterbalance. Um, so that's helpful, but yeah, she's talking about like all the pressures that Jared is under with the coffee shop. This part made me sad, and how he feels like his lack of like money making is like equating him to being like a bad father, and then he and then she said he feels that he brings nothing to the table, which I was like, that's like really fucking sad. And then like, yeah, and Joe Ellen's just like, well, did you tell him that's not the case? Like, I just felt like bad because when she was saying it, like her voice was choking up, so it's definitely like a very real problem that they're obviously having at home because he's probably really so relatable, like in a relationship, because she's like, We would do just my as influencers, but obviously that's not what he enjoys.
SPEAKER_03So he's trying to do something that he enjoys, and she is probably it seems like the breadwinner, like after all their bills and everything.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03And I feel like it's a like such a man thing to be like, Oh my god, like I can't, like, we don't but it's nice that he I wish it I felt for because I feel like I wish he could see that he was like fulfilling his passion, his dream, even though it's becoming a lot. And she's like, she's like, I just want us, like I want him to be in a good mood, but like, how do you fix it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because it doesn't really have anything to do with her, so she can't really fix it. I mean, I think that that that was the relatable part for me is the fact that like he's having really hard days and he's not he doesn't think he's succeeding, so he's being like moody at home, and that like sucks because she's not seeing him all day because he's working so much, and then he comes home and he's not in a good mood because he feels like he's failing. So that was just like really hard, and then like they also just had kids, so she was like also almost crying when she was just like, I should be able to handle it by myself because I have like three nannies, but like I feel like it's really hard, and then she feels bad for feeling like it's hard because they have all these nannies, so you can just tell she's having like a really hard fucking time. So that was like, yeah, it was it was super relatable, except for the fact that like not everybody has three nannies, but but she herself is very relatable. Um yeah, and it's no, she doesn't have three nannies. She said she has a nanny for 33 hours a week. Okay, that's the big difference. A nan one nanny for 33 hours a week.
SPEAKER_03Not three, but it's nice though that she gets to talk to Joel and their kids are the same age because at least they can go back and forth. Because Joelyn mentioned in what episode one that she had just gone back to work.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So And I think that that also helps make Joelan a little more relatable because not to say that she's not like rich, but she's obviously not like as super loaded as like Liz is, so she's more in that same like phase of life, I guess is what I'm trying to say. So I feel like she's more relatable. Um, like obviously they both have money, but it's not like crazy, and so I feel like they can relate to each other more.
SPEAKER_03Well, even Joelyn in it says she's like the breadwinner, essentially.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because she's still I mean she works. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, yeah, and then they they do briefly touch on Rosie, and Joel and says in her confessional that she and Rosie actually have a lot of com a lot of things in common, which is that they both like aesthetic treatments and they're both sometimes photogenic. And I was like, wow, that was really nice. What?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and they're brunette. That was like the first thing she said. Like are you kidding me? Yeah, I think this Rosie Joelyn thing, even after seeing this Rula thing, which we'll get into later, I feel like this Rosie Joelyn Kelsey thing, it's not gonna go anywhere anytime soon.
SPEAKER_00That's what I was saying when we filmed the premiere. I was like, this is a distraction from the real tea, which we're gonna see with Rula, which is so true because I couldn't even believe the stuff that we heard. And like I can't wait to talk about it.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. I still I feel like it's gonna can they're gonna try and like milk it for a little bit longer, but I have to say I don't not like Rosie and I don't not like Kelsey. I like them both. Joelin is the one that annoys me.
SPEAKER_00I don't think I mean, uh yeah, Rosie was being like a little bit gossipy, but I don't think anything she said was like that big of a deal, especially compared to like what we're about to hear. Like it's basically nothing. I'm like, yeah, she was like talking about it a little bit, but like that's like that's what people do.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, exactly. Joelin is a shitster. It was said, it's true.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly. So yeah, so moving on. Liz, Rula, and Kelsey out for a gal lunch and cocktails, which is my favorite. My favorite. It's my favorite too.
SPEAKER_03And I thought that place looks so pretty, and I was like, oh, maybe I can go with Slater one day, but it only has four stars.
SPEAKER_00You only go to five star restaurants.
SPEAKER_03I don't have to go to five stars. I'm just saying on Google, my I prefer like a four point five. So I only have four. I was like, it's so fancy looking. Especially because Providence, I've noticed, and I don't know if this is I'm pretty sure it's Improvidence after I Googled it. But after going out and about Improvidence since we've moved, we go out into Providence about one time a week and find like a new place to go. And then I go to my like favorite thing that I've deemed my version of All Souls in Salem.
SPEAKER_00I just took it on there last weekend and he loved it.
SPEAKER_03It's the best place in Salem. My favorite. But um we go around, and I have to say, four stars is like nothing compared to some of the places we've been that have like four and a half stars.
SPEAKER_00I don't look at reviews. I don't look at reviews. I just go to places and make the judgment myself. I hate looking at reviews, I hate looking at menus in advance. I want to just go. Like, just go to a restaurant.
SPEAKER_03It's not like I looked up reviews for all souls the first time I went. I just went and then found my favorite bar. So yeah, and then went every week for three years.
SPEAKER_00Exhibit A for my point. Okay, anyway, I do agree. Like, I think it's funny that they joke around about like obviously I want to get drinks because I don't know about you, but when I go out with a friend, I not to be like really toxic, but I am disappointed when they're like, oh, I'm not gonna have anything to drink. I'm like, why did we why are you coming when we can just hang at home? I mean, why are we going out? Like, obviously, I want cocktails. I don't want to hang out with somebody that has no interest in like hanging out. Otherwise, the whole thing is gonna take like 30 minutes.
SPEAKER_03It's like a while. Five drinks, I want like two really good cocktails while we're enjoying lunch.
SPEAKER_00Exactly.
SPEAKER_03I think and you're at a place that looks like they make a spectacular cocktail. And now I'm gonna have to try Hendrix with pomegranate and extra lemon.
SPEAKER_00I was gonna say, because I love pomegranate. I love palm.
SPEAKER_01And I did used to make gin.
SPEAKER_00So I used to make this like coconut rum drink that had three fruit in a splash of palm, and it was delicious with fruit in it.
SPEAKER_03That sounds like a good so good.
SPEAKER_00So, anyway, this conversation just like went off the fucking rails like really quickly. I was shocked.
SPEAKER_03It didn't even take 30 seconds. It's like they ordered their drinks, Rula shows up and it like went down.
SPEAKER_00I mean, okay, so yeah, okay, so they order their drinks, Rula comes. Liz explains that she knows Rula from the boating community, which is like so crucial.
SPEAKER_03I know. So, but then Rula is a boat cap one of the only female boat captains in Rhode Island.
SPEAKER_00That was pretty cool. Yes, that's true. Um, yes, Rula comes, she sits down, she gets a spicy mark. I'm like, okay, this is like a great little like gal time. Like, I can definitely get on board with this. I have pages of notes. And also Liz and Rula are both half Syrian, which I knew Rula was Syrian, but I didn't realize that Liz was Syrian. I just thought that she was Italian with like a super fucking spray dan.
SPEAKER_01But yes, yeah, yeah. I agree because she's yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's just what I assumed. I just was I I was picturing her like the same as Dolores, and I'm like, oh, she's actually. So that was just a totally wrong assumption on my part, but anyway, um, yeah, and then the conversation just like fucking pops off immediately. But what I was noticing during the conversation is how big Liz's rock is. It's just a single stone and it's huge. Huge. Like how many carrots do you think that is?
SPEAKER_03I'm not the type of I'm not the person to ask. I don't know. I don't know how big they are.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I did compete with somebody at a pageant that had like a five carat rock. And I remember that. I don't, I mean, I remember, but it's weird because I've like I've seen like I was seeing it in person, I just remember thinking like, oh wow, that's like really big. Because it was so because usually I don't really like notice because I'm not looking for it, but she was sitting right next to me and I just noticed it was like so big, and then like somebody just told me that it was five carrots or whatever, because they know her, but anyway, besides the point, but I'm looking at Linda's hand and I'm just like, oh my god. That is so big. And I'm like, maybe that seems even a little bigger.
SPEAKER_03It was huge.
SPEAKER_01It was huge.
SPEAKER_03I'm thinking like I'm thinking of like, I think what? Like Elaine's is like three K it's ginormous, I feel like. And so this is probably at least double the size. I mean one of the biggest ones I've ever seen.
SPEAKER_00I've never seen. I'm thinking maybe like seven or maybe. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I don't know how she keeps her hand up. It honestly, I'm like, I was like waiting for her finger to droop.
SPEAKER_00Well, especially because she's so slender that I'm just like, it just, it just really like popped. Like I couldn't stop looking at it. But anyway. Um, yeah. So basically, this conversation gave us like so much to unpack. So like Rula sits down, she's like, oh, what did you guys do for 4th of July? They tell her they went to Joe Allen's, and that's when Rula starts it starts explaining why she does not like Jo Allen. So I took the points that I got are one, Rula's husband has a mistress, and according to Brian, the foot doctor, this is isolated to last summer and it's not over.
SPEAKER_03Even though she posted the picture in the winter time, that's wearing a summer outfit.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. So the girls were like, Well, we Jo Ellen saw this picture around New Year's, which is like six months after summer, and she was wearing summer clothes. So they're like, so he was at least doing this over the summer and through the new year. And then thirdly, Liz says that it's around town that he definitely still has the mistress, and she's been telling Rula this directly. Like, she's like, I go to the source. I've been telling you this is what I've been hearing. And then in response, Rula's like, well, you've also she like deflects. She's like, Well, you've also gone through things too with Cherry, and you decided that you were gonna figure things out and stay. And it's like different with me, and even harder for me to leave because I have kids with him and I produced kids with him, which is different because like you guys kids, yeah. And I was like, and then Liz just really like she was super fucking offended by that, like immediately, and so she just kept like hammering at home, hammering at home, hammering at home that like she's just like, even though I didn't produce these kids, like they're still my kids and I love them, and like she just got super offended, and it was just like the conversation just went totally off the rails after that.
SPEAKER_03I yeah, if I was if I had been Kelsey, I would have been like, can we have a I'm here's my portion, I'll let you two duke it out. Yeah, it was bad.
SPEAKER_00I mean, it was just so like classic of like they're trying to tell her directly, like, look, like this doesn't this is like what everybody's still saying, and the picture timing just doesn't make sense, and they just don't believe that like this was isolated to last year, and they're not talking about it behind her back, they're saying it to her face, and instead of like responding to that, she's just like, Well, you have issues too, like she's just deflecting because she's probably like embarrassed.
SPEAKER_03She is, and then I noticed like a lot of it is like she also calls the mistress like a whore and a bunch of names, and it's like I get that, but your husband is also the one cheating on you, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like she's still in defense mode of her husband, and it's like if you should if you're embarrassed by anything, it should be he should be embarrassed because he's the one that is just being so cavalier about it. I mean, the picture is like you're not even trying to hide it. Like, I bet I know that this woman probably has rula blobs, but like they live in Rhode Island. It's like 45 minutes to drive across, like she's going to see this picture, and you don't care.
SPEAKER_03That's why I thought I was like, that is ballsy for her to even post a picture where someone else can see it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and they're out, they're clearly out in a public place, like they kind of looked like they were at like a table or something at a restaurant, and she's just like sitting in his lap. I'm like, they're not even like trying to hide it. Like, I just thought that like that was just horrible.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm. I agree. It was crazy. But as Kelsey even put it, what I thought was interesting when she was like, Rula shows like no emotion. Rula got defensive, but nothing changed. Her tone didn't change, her attitude didn't change, nothing. She died, she just went directly through it.
SPEAKER_00Because I think she's clearly decided that she's gonna stay with him, and so now she has to like defend that decision.
SPEAKER_03Like even in the confessionals, like same tone the whole time. There's no voice raising, no nothing, just totally interesting.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I still like her, but I definitely do not like him, and I'm just not I feel like he's totally like manipulating her behind the scenes.
SPEAKER_01But he's not even like good looking.
SPEAKER_00He also just we'll get to it, but like his response to the affair was so not acceptable. He's just like, what happened last year? Happened last year. I'm like, oh hell no. That is not an acceptable explanation at all.
SPEAKER_03No, no, not even close.
SPEAKER_00What happened last year happened? It's like what does that even mean?
SPEAKER_03I don't know. It happened last year, and we've talked about it, so it's over.
SPEAKER_00No, no. And the only other thing, too, was that then in the confessional, Rula continues to deflect by mentioning that Liz and Jerry had their thing when Jerry's out on these like long-ass fishing trips, which then they elaborate more on at the end of the episode. But when at this point, when she says this, I'm like, what the fuck is she talking about?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I agree. Because Liz says, yeah, she doesn't like say anything really into it.
SPEAKER_00She doesn't respond to that. Like when Rula's like, oh, you guys have also been through things, and she's clearly like insinuating that there's been cheating. Liz just doesn't even like take the bait, she just doesn't, she doesn't take the bait at all. The only thing she gets mad at is the kids thing. Yeah. So I was kind of like, oh, what is going on there? Because she was clearly like, I'm not gonna respond to this. So there's something there. Um, so that was interesting, and then like that was end scene, and I was just like, this one scene is more news than we get in entire seasons of franchises that have been on forever.
SPEAKER_03I know it's insane. For me, as though, like, is it only because the franchises have been on forever, so there's nothing new?
SPEAKER_00No, I just think they're overly aware of the cameras and they don't want to like give up too much publicly. They want to like start keeping things private, and it's like once you've been on TV for so long where you're like, oh well, I want to keep all of these things private, it's like, yeah, you do have the right to do that, but then you should probably not be on the show anymore because it's like it just is like boring to fucking want you if you're hiding all of your job. Like, that's why we watch. We don't like you know what I mean.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yes, yes, and then um yeah, from there to Kelsey's house. Yes, and she has her living cleaning lady person in their 16,000 square foot house, and Olicia goes to visit and she brings crackers, but didn't want to wait in line for cheese.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I don't think there's anything missing from this house. There can't possibly be. And I also thought it was funny that Kelsey pulled out a bottle of Whispering Angel and said she like loves a cheap bottle of wine because like I like Whispering Angel.
SPEAKER_03At least it's over, is it over six dollars?
SPEAKER_00I mean Yeah, no, it's not like a six dollar bottle of wine, but it's like, I don't know, like 20, 17.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00Six dollars. I I will say that like I don't like if I tried to drink like Andre's now, I would get like sick. You know? Like that's like too cheap. I mean, I liked it when I was in like high school, but now Montecitos is probably the cheapest prosecco.
SPEAKER_03I love it. What is it? Monte is it like Monte Cell Montecito Monticello, Montecito's? It's orange.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I don't know.
SPEAKER_03And it's only a few dollars less than La Marca.
SPEAKER_00I yeah, I usually drink La Marca, which is like 17 at the at a small liquor store. At a big liquor store, it's like 14 or 15. Yes.
SPEAKER_03Marco Basket liquors in Danvers, it's 14.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so I think that that's reasonable.
SPEAKER_03I think so too. I don't need to spend$60 on something we're gonna finish in one day.
SPEAKER_00No, but if I was getting if I was getting somebody a gift, I would get them something nicer.
SPEAKER_03Yes, I agree. But she's just like, I like how they have the$20 bottle wine in like her little wine cellar area.
SPEAKER_00Yes, me too. Okay. So yeah, so then so then I do, I also just this is basically just like them having a chat on the couch, but I do think that's so funny. It is funny because it's just like that's this is exactly what like we do with our friends. Like you just come over to just like have a chat. And the leisure was basically just like, yeah, I was kind of like talking about you at the picnic, but I was just being nosy. And I just love how she said that because like it wasn't that big of a deal. She was just like, Oh, I was just kind of like, Oh, where does he spend Christmas? And I'm like, if I heard my one of my friends say that about me in the same situation, like I would not be mad. Like, yeah, I just I would expect people to be having those kinds of conversations, like it's a normal, it's not that big of a deal.
SPEAKER_03No, exactly. It's like it was brought up because she was being nosy, and never have I ever, not Alicia, but it was brought up to be nosy, and then Alicia just asked a reasonable question when you've had a drink at a beach with a bunch of girls, it makes sense. Like, I don't think Alicia did anything wrong, and but this is like when we get to know more about Alicia and what makes her okay.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, before I'm gonna open this with the woman survived. So can we just like confirm? Because I had to like confirm that because I was like, did this woman die? No, she didn't.
SPEAKER_03So you like task in a crosswalk? That's what I'm envisioning.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so what I I looked this up and I listened to like a little interview that she did, and like this is honestly one of my worst fears. Like, she was at a stop, and then she started driving again after she stopped, and she was going like 15 miles an hour, and this woman just came out in front of her car. She said she like dove in front of her car, she didn't know if she was like on drugs or suicidal or something, and Alicia ran her over, but the woman survived. And I'm like, thank god she was going so slow. And then secondly, it's like this happens all the time in busy areas. People just fucking walk out into the street, and it's like this could happen to anybody.
SPEAKER_03It could, yeah, especially if you live. Oh my god, Providence is a disaster to drive in.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, people don't use crosswalks, they don't care. They just want this happens to me when I'm driving through Beverly. There's like this main like street through Beverly that I have to drag down on my way to the gym, and there's a million crosswalks, and nobody fucking uses them. And it's it's a busy area, so I'm always going slow. Like I'm never going more than like 20 miles an hour down that road. But people walk out into the street all the time, and joggers jog out into the street all the time. And I'm just like, there's so many crosswalks, there's so many lights. Like, why are you not using them?
SPEAKER_03I use a crosswalk, but I am a chronic jaywalker. I never wait for the walk light. Like, I just go. If it's empty, I go. Yeah, but yeah, I don't know. I like that, and then I really enjoyed her stor story about how she was like, Oh, I was here 10 years ago and I my friend abandoned me and I had to walk to Dunkin' Donuts. Can we just say in every episode so far, we have had Dunkin' Donuts?
SPEAKER_00Yes, best where people drink coffee in New England. I don't like the taste of Starbucks. I don't enjoy the taste of Starbucks at all. I think it tastes weird. I don't like it.
SPEAKER_03It's like burnt. But yeah. Anyway, so we've gotten Dunkins in each episode. So I just had to like point that out.
SPEAKER_00Right. And then let me just see if there's anything else in the scene. Yeah, they're just basically, I mean, they end it by just talking about like this thing going on with Rula, and Alicia's just kind of like, I just want to know what's going on.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I just want she's she even says she's being nosy. She's like, I just need to know. I just like I've heard stories. Someone just confirm.
SPEAKER_00I do think that it's legit, like, if you're in a friend group, to be curious about that. Like, I think it's funny whenever we watch these reality shows and everybody acts like nothing is anybody else's business. It's like, this is not-I mean, if if somebody who is either a friend of a friend or one of my friends, like people were saying that their husband had a mistress, like, I would be talking about it or asking them. Like, I wouldn't just be like, Oh, it's none of my business.
SPEAKER_03Like, you wouldn't have like, I'm sorry, I need to know. Like, we're friends.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like it'd be weird not to bring it up. Like, it'd be weird just to be out and like nobody says anything. Like, like it's kind of like a big deal.
SPEAKER_03I can understand, like, you said you don't want to talk about it, but just pretend it didn't happen.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's like a lot. So okay, so then we actually do go to Rula's like huge mansion. I was confused when she was like, I'd never live in Cranston where Joellen lives, and she lives in Lincoln, but don't all the other girls live in Cranston or no?
SPEAKER_03Alicia lives in Cran. No. Alicia used to live in Cranston, she lives in Providence. I think all of them live in Cranston.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I mean, Rhode Island's like so small.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, well, does Liv live in Cranston? She Liz lives obviously directly on the water. I don't I'm not good with my Rhode Island geography at the moment. I think a map.
SPEAKER_00I guess I just don't maybe don't know enough, but I don't know what the big I don't know what she's saying is like so wonderful about Lincoln.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. I asked later and he goes, it's Lincoln. Like she's fine.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like I'm okay.
SPEAKER_03I just need to know. And I was like, what about Cranston? He goes, It's outside of Providence.
unknownI'm like, okay.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I I don't I need like a comparison, John, for me. Like, I'm like, is it the difference between like Beacon Hill and like I don't think so? Like, I'm just wondering what she meant that it was like so much better. Cause I'm like, I think did you see Joellen's like call out video though, Tarula?
SPEAKER_03And like I live in Cran. Oh, it was so big on Instagram today. She was like, Oh, I live in Cranston, but your husband sleeps in Cranston.
SPEAKER_00But does he? This is the reason mistress, I think, is like also local, and that's why I'm just like, why would you post this picture online? Like everybody is gonna fucking see it, even if you have Rua blocked.
SPEAKER_03I know. Hold on, uh like I'll need to like look at this. But it wasn't insane. Like it was hold on, Joelan. We'll do it live. Joelin call-out video. Okay, I'll have to look it up, but it is insane. She honestly, like, she goes in hard on Rula and like the trans thing.
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah, I mean, it was a fun setup. Okay, so she has two kids, Luca and Lay Layla. They're five and eight. So that does make the mistress thing like more sad, but um, yeah, she lives in Lincoln, she's one of the only female boat captains, and she runs her own financial planning firm. So I'm like, oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01That's a lost bit, as she says.
SPEAKER_00100%. Um, okay, so she's been with Brian for 12 years, married for nine. I don't, I mean, I know she's choosing to stay with him. I don't like Brian. I'm not on Brian's side on this one at all.
SPEAKER_03No, I am not on Brian's side. Okay, I found it. And Joel and goes, You shop in Cranston, you golf in Cranston, and your husband sleeps in Cranston.
SPEAKER_00I mean, yeah, it seems that this is true. And like, I just I just didn't appreciate his response when she was talking to him about how the girls were talking about his his affair, and he's just like, oh, well, what happened last year happened last year. And I'm just like, he didn't see it.
SPEAKER_03Like he sort of broke down when we talked about it.
SPEAKER_00He cried, uh, yeah, no.
SPEAKER_03But then says, You track me and you know where I am at all times, and yet he's the one that got in trouble for putting uh putting a tracking device in her gym bag.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly. And also, like he got caught. Like, this is the thing, and this is another reason why I don't like trust what he's saying, is because they did say that the picture was posted in the wintertime, even though clearly it was from the summer. And so who so first of all, he's lying about how long it went on, if it's even over, and second of all, the only reason why he cried is because he was caught. It's not like he came to her crying and said, Oh, I I've been having an affair, but I ended it, I feel so guilty about it. Like, the only reason why he cried is because she confronted him with this fucking photo. Yeah, yeah. Like, I just am not I don't like this at all. And he has two little kids. Like, ew.
SPEAKER_01No. And yeah, and he put a tracker in her car.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. For what reason?
SPEAKER_03Maybe he thinks she's doing the same thing.
SPEAKER_00I think he's probably a very different guy behind the scenes.
SPEAKER_03Probably. It's interesting though, like they could do the storyline however they wanted because it's a new uh franchise, and yet he knows this is all getting aired out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I mean, it is a little surprising that he agreed to do the show.
SPEAKER_03I agree. Like he could be blocked out too. Yeah. I mean, it'd be Google, but still, like, this is uh obviously a main storyline and he's letting it go.
SPEAKER_00Right. So yeah, I'm not a fan of the foot doctor at this juncture. And I just feel like there's just I just think certain things like you just can't come back from. Like, I just feel like this is probably one of those things. Like, you try, but you if you really are like, I can never trust this person again, I just don't think that there's any help for the relationship.
SPEAKER_03The producers are like, have you forgiven him? And she's like she was saying no, yeah. Yeah. So that's Rob.
unknownRight. Okay.
SPEAKER_00So then we've got the winery is like next, right? So yeah, the winery is next.
SPEAKER_03I'll meet at Alicia's house to go on the party bus.
SPEAKER_00Yep. The party bus is an excellent idea. I'm always a fan of that. Like, that's perfect. Um, yeah, Alicia is a few.
SPEAKER_03I want to go to Newport Winery.
SPEAKER_00I want we can go to Newport Winery. Um, I think it's funny that Alicia brings crackers. She also mentions fig newtons, which I do not like fig newtons. I like Newtons.
SPEAKER_01You don't like fig newtons? I don't like fig newtons.
SPEAKER_00I think that they're gross. I always have, I never liked them even when I was little, and like my parents always brought them to the beach and I hated them. But I do like neutra grain bars, the blueberry ones.
SPEAKER_03I explained because I messaged Alicia because she mentioned like she always had a snack and like a drink in her bag, and I was like, I always have crackers, or I always have a snack and a polar. And she goes, I love polar. And she was like, Me too. And I was like, freaking love you. But I am team snacks, I can't go anywhere without like six cans of seltzer and some snacks.
SPEAKER_00Yes, you even bring those seltzers on our walks, which is interesting.
SPEAKER_03I need to stay hydrated. This is like the rest of the episode is at the winery, right? Oh right.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, basically.
SPEAKER_00So my god, so they all get on, they're all in their kind of like rainy wear fashion, and Ashley is wearing like a medieval garment.
SPEAKER_03Yes. As Rosie put it, Ashley is looking so folklore. I about died. But hot takes I I didn't think it was that bad.
SPEAKER_00I felt like they were It wasn't like ugly, it just was like I f like I would wear that to like the King Richards Fair with like some sort of flower crown or something. Like I was like, what the hell is she wearing to this blindery? She was wearing like a corset over the peasant dress. It was a King Richards Fair Renaissance outfit.
SPEAKER_03Like I would never wear it, but I didn't think it was as bad as people were making it out to be.
SPEAKER_00It just didn't go like you can just tell she's not from you can just tell she's different. Like, where is she from?
SPEAKER_03Isn't she from Virginia or Maryland? Somewhere down there.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I mean, you can just tell she's just a little different from them. Like they all kind of have a similar like fashion, except Rosie's like really cute and preppy, but the rest of them sort of have the same. Fame fashion, and then Ashley is kind of like, you can just tell she's just not from there. You can just tell.
SPEAKER_03Great Falls, Virginia.
SPEAKER_00So, okay, so Rula is not on the party bus. She's the only one not on the party bus. So it seems that like she is on the outs a little bit. No, I mean, this is kind of sucks. Like, I get that it's not like Jo Ellen's fault that her husband has a mistress, but like it does suck that it's like you've got to deal with the fact that like he has a mistress or had an affair. Then you have to deal with the fact that everybody knows about it. And then it's you're also like on the outs with the girls. It's like she's just totally alone. Like that sucks.
SPEAKER_03But it seems like Rula doesn't have the same connection as the other girls do, though.
SPEAKER_00Like, no, she's not be closer to like Liz and Kelsey. But I don't I think that she would mesh fine if this stuff wasn't going on. This is what happens though. This is what happens when you're in a bad relationship and you decide that you're going to stay. You start getting mad at other people because you can't get mad at them. Because if you get mad at them, then people are like, Well, why are you still with him? So she has to like defend this relationship by like having these fights with other people so that it's like him and her against everybody else, because this is the path that she's chosen. So it's just it's this is what happens every time like you have a friend that's in a toxic relationship, they start to isolate themselves. Like, yeah, yeah, it's just so classic.
SPEAKER_03Exactly. Like they all go, they're all having a good time. Yeah. Kelsey takes Joelan aside to tell her that Rula is coming. Joelyn is so mad that Rula is like absolutely furious. And she's like, fuck with my family, mess with my job, blah blah blah. Because I guess Rula's husband wrote all these things to Joelyn's job, which is so that's when we find out like what you're an idiot. Like you made the mistake, and then you try and get Joel and so I'm I'm I'm on Joelan's side on that one.
SPEAKER_00That's I'm on her side with that one too. Like it sounds so this scene is is where we find out that not only was Joelan the one to reveal the picture, but then it seems that in retaliation, Rula and Brian are now going after Joelan because Joel and the one that revealed the picture. So according to Joelen, according to Joelan, she saw the picture, told Liz about, showed it to Liz because Liz is friends with Rula. Liz brought the picture to Rula. Rula called Joellen and said, please send me everything. Just because she brought this woman, probably has her blocked on social media. So she was saying to Joelan, please send me everything so I can look at them. And she was like crying and upset. Joel and sent her everything, the affair comes out. And now it seems like Ryan and Rula have teamed up against Joel and now that like they're back together. So now they're going after Joellen for like showing the picture to everybody, and now they're like trying to sabotage her job because they all work in the same industry. So like that's super shitty. And also what are you saying to her job?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right? Like, oh, she has an Instagram and she noticed and she brought it up.
SPEAKER_00Unless they're just making things up, because Rula said that she and Brian are very like well connected in the aesthetics business, so maybe they're just making up stories about her. Like Yeah, maybe. Maybe. I mean, it just she Joelyn was like really, really pissed. So it seems like this HR complaining is really is real. Like, yeah, she's I agree.
SPEAKER_03Like, I don't think it was made up for that. So Joelyn is mad. She's telling Kelsey that she's really mad. In the meantime, Liz is getting the entire table up to speed on why they're talking.
SPEAKER_00Right. I like Liz's hat in the scene. It's like an investigative little hat.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I agree. I thought I wrote something about Alicia's boots, but I can't even remember what they looked like. Oh I know that I was like, they were like not, they looked funny with her outfit and they weren't like winery appropriate, but they were reinappropriate.
SPEAKER_00Hmm. I didn't notice her boots. I was noticing the buck was his bucket hat. And I was like, oh. Um yeah, like when she was like wearing it and telling them what was going on. I was like, she looks like a little like investigative reporter.
SPEAKER_03I know she's doing that, and then Kelsey and Joelle come back to the table and Rula FaceTimes Kelsey and says, Oh, by the way, I'm feeling sick, but she was in full glam and wearing a hat.
SPEAKER_00That was so obvious. The fact that she was clearly wearing a lot of makeup, but then she just put the hat on. I don't know to like cover up the fact that she literally had like her hair done or something. I was like, What why would you even get on FaceTime?
SPEAKER_03Like just right? I'd I don't know. I'd be like, hey, babe, like I can't come. Like, hey, like, this isn't for me.
SPEAKER_00But like, she if she keeps avoiding it, it's just gonna get worse because what happens is like you continue to isolate yourself and you're just creating a vacuum. So like you're creating all this space for all of them to just speculate and talk instead of you just hanging out with everybody and like addressing the elephant in the room. Like she doesn't say.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I agree. She's gonna have to go to something and like then Joelyn, while Rula is on the phone with Kelsey, they have these boxes that Kelsey wants them to fill up, which we'll get to in a second. But anyway, their the names were on the boxes, and Joelyn just takes Rula's and throws it into a bush, like outside the winery. Right. And then I just need to mention a couple of their menu orders real quick. The fact that Alicia asks for her pizza well done, and I was like, ordering pizza at a place that's not her own pizza place. Go for her. And then Liz does not eat bread, and she asked for the roast beef sandwich with no bread.
SPEAKER_00Both of those orders baffled me. I was like, neither of those things sound good at all. Like, I don't know.
SPEAKER_03I don't want a well done pizza, although it's fine, it might be a Rhode Island thing because Elaine orders her pizza well done.
SPEAKER_00I've never heard that, but I I have never heard that until recently. And then recently I was at this place that only does these bar pizzas, and they were wicked good, but there were people that were ordering like the well done like crust or extra crispy, and I was like, I just eat it how it comes. Like however the place cooks it, well, because like every place has their own style, and however they cook it, I feel like that's how it's meant to be eaten.
SPEAKER_03I don't want it to be soggy, but I don't want it to be overly crispy either.
SPEAKER_00Right. So I don't know.
SPEAKER_03But anyway, I thought that was interesting, but back to the thing. We have these boxes, and Kelsey wants everyone.
SPEAKER_00Now we have these boxes where Kelsey wants everyone to put in a question so that they have like no Kelsey just wants to bring up the fact that she's annoyed that people were talking about her relationship. Like, she wants an avenue to address this whole like open relationship that she's in, and she's just like looking for the stage to do that. Like she's clearly like, stop talking about my fucking relationship, and I want to bring this up in front of everybody. Which I don't, I mean, it's something to respect, but she's definitely like she wants this game to happen.
SPEAKER_03And so they bust out these questions, right? And Rosie puts it in the very beginning after these questions, she just goes, Don't believe everything you believe, don't believe everything you see on Reddit.
SPEAKER_00Right. I mean, or things on Reddit that are posted by like really random people that don't even live in the area, and you're like, How do you even know this?
SPEAKER_03Oh, I agree. Interesting. A couple interesting questions. Is Kelsey a polygamist? Is she dating someone else? We get another one. Alicia asks Liz if she's if her and Jerry ever had an affair.
SPEAKER_00Well, we that's the grand finale question. Okay. Okay. The first, the mild ones are like the polygamist thing, and the only difference Kelsey is just saying that she's not a polyg, they're not married. So that's why she's not they're not married and they're not like sister wives. They're and she is in an open relationship, and everybody in the relationship knows that it's open. So that's why she's just like, stop talking about this. Like, I know that it's open. He is with another woman for half the year, she knows that it's open. None of them are married, there's no children involved. There's they're like just in an open relationship, that's what it is. And she's also exploring relationships with another person, so like it's that's just an open relationship, that's not polygamy. And like, yeah, you know, so that's the first thing. And then the other thing is that they talk about how they ask Joel if she and Gary are swingers. So this was remember when we were like, did we hear that in the premiere? And like so, this is a rumor that's going around, and she said no, but she did have a threesome once, and that was the guy at the tanning salon and his wife.
SPEAKER_03His wife, yes, because we talked about that and we were like so confused about what was going on.
SPEAKER_00Yes, I was like, Did I hear that? And then they start talking about how big of a swinging community Rhode Island is, and I'm like, This is exactly what we're talking about last week, which is like so funny. Um, so there's that, and then Rosie did not have sex with a basketball coach, which I've like never heard that, but apparently this was like when she was a news anchor, this was like a big I guess so.
SPEAKER_03And she's like, I've never even met the coach, so like how do you do that if I've never met him?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that one was kind of like boring to me, just because I don't know who that is. Um, and then actually last year returned to me at 29. I was like, oh my god. That's really late. I like that's like excessively late.
SPEAKER_03Yep, and she's like, I just waited for the right person. I was like, oh my god, did if she's 38 though, 37, and she just met Jared, so it was like right before the Bachelor.
SPEAKER_00Was it the bat was it Jared?
SPEAKER_03I have no idea. She didn't say, but if you do math, it's just anyway.
SPEAKER_00There's a certain point that's like you're just really dragging this out, and I just feel like at a certain point you need to get like some experience. Like true.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00So that was the one about how I did think Kelsey losing it at 14 is way too early. Like I was like, whoa.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00There's a happy medium, and I feel that the happy medium is.
SPEAKER_0314 at 29.
SPEAKER_00I feel the happy medium is like late teens, like late, late teens. I know that even for some people that's late. For me, I feel like late, late teens. Like you're out of high school, but you're not in your 20s. I feel like is a good time.
SPEAKER_01Reasonable.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Well, I just feel like when you're going into adulthood, you need some experience because otherwise you're just so naive. Like, like you just need some I don't know. I just 29 is is really late. Like, I just I don't know. I know some people are like super religious, but and I she I don't think she was she wasn't saying that she was super religious, so she was just waiting for the right person, but I don't know. I just feel like that'd be like so much like a pressure.
SPEAKER_03I know, right? I have no idea. Did anyone ask Alicia a question?
SPEAKER_00That if she ever hooked up with Gary, Jo Ellen's husband, and she was like, No, Gary was my prayer partner.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, my prayer partner, and like we Yeah, that's what it was. She was like, I prayed for him, didn't sleep with him.
SPEAKER_00Basically, what I'm getting out of this show is that Alicia has known everybody since she was like born.
SPEAKER_03Yes, essentially. Liz she's known since she was born. She went to a confirmation with Gary. She was best friends with Joel's sister. I'm like, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she knows like everybody. Um so yeah, so the Liz thing was brought up because Alicia wrote the card, and her card was like ridiculous. She was just like, Love you, love you so much. Sorry for asking this, but is it true? And Liz was like, What the fuck are you talking about?
SPEAKER_03What are you talking about? And she was like, Well, now I need to know. And Liz is like, Are you kidding me?
SPEAKER_00Like, like Liz literally genuinely looked like at first that she didn't know what she was talking about. She was just like, Well, what do you mean? And Alicia's like, Oh, I don't know that you're having an affair or something. You know, I was like, that was the weirdest way to write that on the card. Um, and then Liz was like really offended that she asked that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but Liz said it was funny because in her confessional, Liz is like, it's not true, but we can pretend because it makes a good story.
SPEAKER_00Okay, but do you remember we talked about this when we first did the trailer when the teaser trailer came out at Bravo? So this is the guy that was in that article. This guy that is yeah, so basically, Liz is really close friends with this guy named Dino, and she was like that name is just I know, I know could you be any more Italian? Like your name is Dino, and I just I can't so and from the Northeast too. So the he's also linked with Aaron Hernandez's ex.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because don't they have a kid together yet? There's a child with her, would that be a thing today?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so this guy I'm imagining to be like super Boston, although I don't know if he's actually from Boston, but like super New England, and his name is Dino, and she's really good friends with him, and she said that their relationship was did cross lines, but not physically. So she's basically saying they're super, super close and hang out all the time, but they've never slept together. And Jerry apparently goes on fishing trips for through three weeks out of four of the month.
SPEAKER_03I'm like something like that.
SPEAKER_00Okay, like that's a lot. Three weeks you're fishing? Is this like all the time?
SPEAKER_03I don't think so, because then they still he's it looks like they're actively involved in the dispensary. So, like, how do you run a business and then you're gone three to four weeks on a fucking boat?
SPEAKER_00Well, I also get the impression that he knows about this.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I would think so. Because didn't someone bring up her phone records and say like they supposedly called each other like 400 times in a month, and then was it Rosie? And she was like, Well, Liz is old, so like she wouldn't make a she wouldn't text someone.
SPEAKER_00Right, so she calls. Right. Yeah, like I mean, it's did it does seem a little weird, and it also seems weird because like we had already read articles about this before the show ever came out, because this is the guy that's linked to Cosa Nostra and he's in trouble for like drug dealing or something. So like I sort of think that there is truth to this, but it is making me wonder if she and Jerry are also in kind of an open relationship, and she just doesn't want to like just say that. Like they don't, they're not open about being open because I'm like it, I mean, it sort of seems like she when she wasn't reacting to it, like it sort of seems like it's true, and like he but he knows about it.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_03I mean, maybe they did like if he was gone that if Jerry was gone that much, maybe they did across like an emotional line, but it doesn't mean that they well no, but it's still wrong. Yeah, it's still wrong, but honestly, yeah, of all the couples that we've met so far. I wanna say Jay we've met Gary and Joelyn and Liz and Jerry like the most, I feel like.
SPEAKER_00But that's what I'm saying is I they seem they seem super solid, so maybe they actually just are in an open relationship, is what I'm saying. I mean, I have no idea, like we'll continue to watch the show, but it just sort of seemed like she was just like there's nothing to talk about.
SPEAKER_03And I was like, she was like, Alicia, are you kidding me? And Alicia's like, I just wanted to know.
SPEAKER_00Like so definitely interesting. I think we're gonna hear more about that because the preview for the next episode sort of seemed like they were calling her out about this, but I could again because they all look so similar, I couldn't tell.
SPEAKER_03I know, I know. It's tough to tell when all you see is the back of a brunette head. I think you're like, what's happening?
SPEAKER_00There's photos of them all at the Celtics game together, and they all look exactly the fucking same. I'm like, you guys can't all use the same makeup artist because they all had their makeup done the same way too. And I'm like, I can't tell any of you apart.
SPEAKER_03Well, I guess we'll find out more when we go next week to the baseball game. See if we can tell them apart in person.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. Well, on the show they look different to me, but in the photos, like if they're all using the same artist and they're all dressed alike, because like they were all wearing jerseys and stuff, and I just feel like all their makeup looked super similar, and it just and they were doing like pictures together, so it's they just look all looked exactly the same. And I was like, oh my god.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I agree. Like it does, but yeah, when you're looking online, and then when you look, but yeah, I agree, they definitely do look a lot alike in pictures, but yeah, in person when you do watch a show and everyone's like, Oh, I can't tell them apart in the show, I'm like, you can tell them apart. I think the only two that I get confused are Kelsey and Rosie, but that's only because like they're so like, you know what I mean? And we have always seen a ton of Kelsey, but that was just my opinion. Yeah, so we end on the we end the episode though with Ali with Liz just telling Alicia she should know better. And then we see the preview. Yeah, like yeah. So I guess we'll see what happens because they don't leave the winery at the end, so I wonder if it'll pick back up in the winery in the next episode. I will be it will be interesting to see that. Excited for this and all that goes along with it.
SPEAKER_00It's so good. It's like so good.
SPEAKER_03I like I said, I rewatched it today and I'm like, oh, I'm gonna rewatch it so I can have like better notes. And I'm like, this is so much I couldn't rewatch Jersey right now if I like you know what I mean? Like to watch it two a week ago and then rewatching it. I'm like, no way.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, not possible.
SPEAKER_03Um but anyway, thank you for listening to this episode, guys. We appreciate it. We will be back next week.
